“I tell you no lie my friends…If Jimi Hendrix and Tina Turner had a baby, it would be this powerhouse from the south side of Chicago, Melody Angel. Oh, and Melody Angel is her REAL name, can you say Destiny? This young self-taught guitarist has a voice that will touch your soul and lyrics that accurately describe what it’s like living in the world as a Black woman with songs like, “In This America”, “Keep On Knocking”, and “A Woman’s Blues”.”
