Donnita Hathaway embarked on a journey to honor the late Donny Hathaway in 2015 by creating the Donny Hathaway Legacy Project (DHLP) 501c3, which seeks to unify us all and provide culturally relevant and accessible mental health-related prevention, education, advocacy and resources.
It is my life’s goal to honor my father by addressing the issues that tragically ended his life. DHLP will share holistic healing tools and to educate and motivate others to deal with various life traumas and heartbreak. It is time to end the Mental Health Stigma. We all deserve to have the best quality of life possible.
